Micro Needling: How To Remove Fine Wrinkles Using A Derma Roller
There are various skin problems that cannot be resolved by the body alone. Some imperfections of the skin are not easily fixed. Some of the flaws that involve the skin are: scars, acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
Supporting innate capacities
A new treatment modality has been developed by skin specialists' to remove skin blemishes and wrinkles. The main goal of these experts is to support natural skin regeneration. This natural procedure is known as skin-needling, micro-needling, or collagen induction therapy.
Aging equals wrinkles
Aging is just one of the factors that cause significant changes to the skin. The dermal layer becomes thin and the production of collagen also diminishes. The set of elastin fibers, which is responsible for the skin's elasticity, also deteriorates during this typical human process of aging. These apparent alterations within the dermis give rise to wrinkling and sagging of the skin.

Normal body processes slow down as one grows older. Moreover, blood vessels become a bit abnormal through the years and this causes inadequate supply of nutrients to the skin. These two elements lead to a shortage of collagen and elastin in the dermal layer. Hence, there is a great need to accelerate the production of both the collagen and elastin.
Speed up collagen formation
Collagen induction therapy stimulates production of collagen in the deep layer of the skin and this is accomplished by inducing harmless microscopic holes on the two layers of the skin. The break in both the dermis and epidermis enhances blood flow towards the undernourished areas of the skin. Increased blood flow brings more nutrients to the area where collagen and elastin are being manufactured. Hence, there is a greater chance for a bigger production of these two important skin components.
Improved absorption
Micro-needling does not only support the normal body functions but it also promotes better absorption of skin medications. The miniature needles are the ones responsible for creating tiny openings and these serve as temporary passage for facial creams into the lower strata of the skin. Absorption becomes greater since there are more channels where the molecules of medications can simply pass through. Hence, the fine wrinkles of the skin may also be smoothened with additional help from topical drugs.
Effective and inexpensive
Utilizing a derma-roller in the collagen induction therapy had been common since the year 2000. Micro-needling may be considered as one of the cheapest way of removing wrinkles from the skin especially when a person has his or her own derma-roller. In this way, there is no need for any derma clinic visits as micro-needling may already be done at home.

Will the Olay Anti-Aging Eye Roller make the lines under my eyes go away?
I'm only 19, but I have 2 deep lines under each eye. They're not from lack of sleep because I have them every day no matter what, and I think I'm too young to have wrinkles. No matter what the cause, do you think the eye roller will make them go away?
It can help! I have dark eye circles under my eyes and wouldn't say I have wrinkles, but the skin is so thin that you really can't have perfectly smooth skin there (maybe if you're reallyyyyy young!). I have heard that that helps. If you don't see anything from it, stay away from make up counters at Nordstrom and Sephora--most of those are highway robbery. What I would suggest would be to see your/a dermatologist to see what they recommend in products. I know that products containing peptides will help with your collagen. Over time, your skin's elasticity (collagen) breaks down and that is what causes wrinkles. Things like environmental factors are usually what cause it. Another key thing is to moisturize...I'd suggest using a day cream with SPF 15/20 (your eyes really don't need to be tan--you need to wear eyewear in the sun anyway because of eye damage) so that it prevents further damage and also a night cream that helps to build collagen and moisture in the area.
Another thing that I suggest, if you can afford it, is microdermabrasion or a facial peel. I am also 19 and have fair skin (getting tanner though!) and freckles to show. I also have minor acne and combination of dry/t-zone oily skin. I got this peel last week called the Vi peel--contains salicylic acid, glycolic acid, etc. Seriously EXPENSIVE, but what it does is sting/burn for two minutes and gets rid of the top layer of skin. You have two nights that you put on this wipe (it's like a hand wipe, but with Vitamin C and Retin-A) which makes your skin dry out more! This is good though, because Days 3 and 4 your skin will peel like crazy (doesn't hurt, you don't pick at it though). This is the top layer of your skin (epidermis) coming off. Your skin is forced to rapidly produce new layers (it will be a little sensitive) and that will make your skin thicker//have more collagen to it. It helps (this one in particular, there are many peels out there) with hyper-pigmentation (freckles, scars, etc.), surface lines and wrinkles, acne, and other things. You are supposed to get it once every 3 months and some peels you get once every two months. Research it and ask your parents if you can have one as a birthday gift. My mom said my skin never looked better---impurities were brought to surface and vanished (yes acne there was gone and new ones it brought out were gone after a few days), most of my freckles are gone, and if I had any fine lines or wrinkles, I suppose they are not there anymore! =]
