Can pure 100% Australian tea tree oil burn your face?
I have acne and i want to use tea tree oil to clear it up. I read All About it and it didnt say it would burn your face. I have pure 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil and i want to apply it directly to the skin on my face. Is this okay? I did it before, and it cleared up amazing on the first use. The second time was OK. The third time i was about to apply it my mom came in and asked me what i was doing with it. I said putting it on my acne, she said to stop using it because it will burn the skin off my face. So does this really burn my face? If so how do i use it then? Thanks.
Spot treat it with a q-tip. If you want to use it as a toner, get the Tea Tree Oil/Witch Hazel mix, it's not as severe.
