Although many people think that a high sunblock SPF and a SPF 50 sunscreen are the same product, they are actually two different types of sun protective lotions. Zinc oxide sunscreens only absorb the ultraviolet light so it will not reach your epidermis, while sunblocks act like their name suggests and actually block the UV lights from reaching your skin. Furthermore, sunblocks offer UVA and UVB protection, unlike sunscreens which only protect users from UVB rays. However, you can also have a sun protective lotion which casts away the UVA radiation in the form of sunscreen. You just have to look for a zinc oxide sunscreen which contains aveobenzone, oxybenzone and octocrylene.
Sun protective lotions work best if they have a SPF over 30 (like SPF 50 sunscreens or sunblocks), while those lotions who only have SPF 10 or SPF 15 don't offer adequate protection against ultraviolet light.
There are many sun protective lotions on the market which you can buy. You can buy them from supermarkets, pharmacies, general stores or even online. The most prestigious companies offer UVA and UVB protection lotions such as zinc oxide sunscreen and sun protective sunblocks which have proved to be really efficient. Apart from the high end brands which commercialize sun protective lotions, there are also the brands which are commercialized in general stores and supermarkets all around the world. These sunblocks and sunscreens are less expensive than the previous ones and some of them have also proved to be really effective. There is also a third category of sun protective lotions which can only be bought from drugstores and pharmacies and they offer an UVA and UVB protections for those individuals who have other skin problems, such as acne and red spots. This category of users should also be aware that there are specially designed face sunscreens and sunblocks.

Hawaiian Tropic tanning lotion????? HELP (spring break)?
Well i want to get really tan but not burnt... sometimes i get burnt first then i get tan. I don't know if the Hawaiian Tropic Protective tanning lotion is good or what??? Im going to the florida Keys.. I'm not pale or dark.! Thank you ( give me tips on tanning please )
My mom uses that Hawaiian Tropic tan enhancing lotion... when she still went to the beach, she used to get a really nice dark tan. I don't know if its good for you or not, but I'd say it works. It depends on your skin tone. I can't use it cause I'm pink toned and it just makes me burn faster.
