Ask anyone who has done it, and you'll know that house moving involves a serious deal of planning, sorting, packing, and bubble wrap sheet.
In fact, transferring from one abode to another can spur a great amount of stress to its residents that's why there are people who hire professional house movers to do the work for them. But if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for moving services, you can still do the job yourself or probably ask help from friends and neighbors in case there are a lot of things to pack.
Start by creating a checklist of what you need to accomplish at least four weeks before the actual move. You can drop by the downtown area and purchase the things you will need for bagging your stuff. If you don't have a vehicle big enough for all your stuff, time to reserve an appointment with the truck company you can hire.
The next step is to group each of your household items in a box and label them accordingly. In this way, you can apply some de-cluttering techniques as well—have a box for "things you can give to charity", "things you can sell", and "things you will keep".

For sure, the least circumstance you want to happen is to find your few selected possessions crushed into bits and pieces.
Lastly, at the day of your move double check your boxes placement inside the truck. In this way, any minor bump or abnormal movement on the road will not trifle and tear any of your valuables.
