Looking for some good hair products?

I'm looking for a couple different types of hair products that aren't expensive.
I have really thick, coarse, frizzy hair and it is very damaged!
I'm looking for:
a smoothing serum or paste of some sort that smoothes out frizz and makes hair soft and shiny to apply after styling my hair. (not an oil, because I straighten my hair usually everyday, so I don't want to deep fry my hair. haha...)
a conditioner for dry damaged hair

any good suggestions? My hair IS coloured, by the way. So something for coloured hair is preferable.

What are some other products that may help out in keeping my hair healthy?

Also, has anyone tried the Super Potency Biotin vitamins for skin, hair, and nails?
What are your opinions on them?

My hair have been on both sides of the fence, and they didn't have very many products to work with, now it is a billion dollar business, and their main job is to compete with the other, NONE. is better than the other, but the same method for damaged hair applies everywhere. Shampoos are meant to clean, and oil & conditioner are meant to keep hair moisturized.

Shampoo. Condition. Towel dry, scrunch with gel like Samy, blow-dry using a diffuser briefly, toussle the hair, finger comb, shake your head & you're good to go. If you don't have a diffuser, use a blow heat dryer on low for 5 mins.
When you wake up, instead of shampooing again, keep a bottled water filled with water/conditioner and spray on your hair. Scrunch, finger comb and you're good to go!

One method to make it look fuller, add body, bouncier, thicker, softer & shinier hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers after you towel dry, you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry briefly while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb to style. Growing hair, nails doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. Good skin comes from not exposing too much from the sun, and from not taking hot long baths. Skin is like that of grapes, nothing can plump them back once they become raisins to grapes.
