Could one rationale yet evil person do irreparable harm to an entire philosophy?
After the media coverage of the Safeway shooting in Arizona, I had a very bad thought
For example lets say you had a conservative though not insane (knows right from wrong) but evil (willing to do things against cultural norms) and they decided to shoot up some location for what ever sick reason
What would stop this individual from taking 6 months or a year dowsing themselves in all things liberal. They could join the young democrat club, the obama boosters, they could buy ever liberal or communist book, paper their room and car with democrat posters and bumper stickers.
And then go off and commit a heinous act and of course their life would read like that of a hardcore left liberal.
The media storm though completely fabricated by the individual could damage an entire ideology for ever
Do you think this is possible?
Shouldnt just the possibility of this type of fabrication stop people from trying to gain political points on tragedy?
It does seem that way at this point... I bet a avid supporter of either party could do a 'false flag' attack and ruin the opposing side for a year or two, perhaps longer...
