Top 10 Natural Face Masks for Great Skin

We all want brilliant skin but most of us cannot afford to shell out money on beauty products or parlor visits. However, great skin need not come expensive. With some natural products found at home you can create your very own face packs. Since these products are natural, they are safe and will not make a dent in your pocket.

For Smooth Skin

Mix 1 tbsp. milk cream, 1 tbsp. honey and 1 gram baking soda together into a paste. Apply it on the neck and face and wash it of after about 30 minutes.

For Sun Protection

Take 2 tbsp. sesame oil, 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel, 12 drops of cinnamon oil, 1 tbsp. wheat germ oil, 12 drops of lavender oil and mix them in a mixer. Apply it on the face and neck for as long as possible then wash it off.

For Toning the Skin

Take 1 egg white, 1 tbsp. starch, 1 strawberry fruit, few drops of rose water and mix them together. Apply this paste on the face and neck and rinse it off after some time.

For Moisturizing the Skin

Mix 1 tbsp. Vaseline, 1 tbsp. milk cream, 1 tsp. honey, 1 tsp. cottage cheese, 1 tsp. oatmeal together. Smooth it onto the face and the neck and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water.

For Rejuvenating the Skin

Mix together ½ cup pumpkin pulp, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. almond milk or honey, 2 tsp. cranberry juice or apple cider vinegar. Apply the face mask on the neck and face and leave it on 15 minutes and then rinse it off.

For Skin Lightening

Take some lemon juice, cucumber juice and rose water and mix them together. Apply this solution on the face and neck and let it set for some time. Use it regularly for at least a week.

For Wrinkles

Mix one and a half tbsp. of honey and ½ tsp. of carrot juice. Apply this facial pack on the face and keep it on for about 20 minutes. Take some warm water and add a pinch of baking soda to it. Dip a cotton ball in this solution and take off the mask.

For Oily Skin

Mix a tbsp. brewer's yeast and yogurt into a paste. Apply this on your face and neck. Wash the face mask after about 15 minutes with lukewarm water.

For Dry Skin

Apply a thin layer of 1 tsp. butter and 1 tsp. water on the face. Massage it gently and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse off the face with cold water.

For Instant Glow

Take 1 tbsp. papaya paste, 1 tbsp. peach pulp, 1 tbsp. pomegranate juice, 1 tbsp. facial clay or Fuller's Earth. Mix all the ingredients together and apply it generously onto the face and neck. Wash it off after about 15 minutes.

what kind of natural face masks can I use?

I have oily skin and I'd like to be able make a home-made face mask. Any ideas? I am already using a special kind fo soap but if I could use something besides that I think it would be even better. I've already been to the dermatologist and it was too expensive and wasn't working.

I am 18 and been having acne for 6 years. Thanks!
