Isn't the point of privatization to do the same job at a lower cost?

Erik Prince, Republican with insider connections was able to found Blackwater at age 27 with his mommy's and daddy's seed money. Since then he had recieved no bid contracts in Iraq. Now, he's a multi-millionaire.

The point of privatization is to get the government's hands out of the economy. That's how free market economies work. Look up privatization as it applies to economics.

Blackwater isn't "privatization". It's simply one of thousands of civilian contractors that do some work for the government. If you wanted to "privatize" the military, let's use the Army as an example, then you would dissolve the Department of the Army. Put a civilian CEO in charge, it would no longer be funded with tax money, it would become a 'for profit' company, etc. etc. etc.
