What to do with skin that is constantly shedding?
Ever since I was 10(19 now) I have had irritated skin that has led to acne. I never exfoliated because it would just irritate my acne and I would still have peeling skin. Well, these last few months I have been exfoliating my face with a cloth, washing with lukewarm water, and moisturizing everyday. There has been an amazing difference in my skin, I only have a few white heads now and I don't have scaly looking patches. The thing is even though this has helped majorly my skin is still VERY itchy and I still have peeling skin! I try not to scratch, but when I do I get clumps of dead skin under my nails. I moisturize with olive oil so I know I am getting maximum moisture, what do I do about my itchy peeling face? I almost wonder if I have a minor case of psoriasis because the problems reduce greatly when summer comes and my mother has the same problem. Tips?
I see a dermatologist for severe psoriasis on my feet, armpits and fingernails..
