Are There Normally Suicide Letters
The families and friends of the deceased often ask if there was a suicide letter and actually very few are ever written. Most commit suicide as spontaneously as others decide to go shopping while others still plan it to the last detail. My own connection to suicide is as familiar to me as wearing clothes, going to work, or reading a book because it did not pass my door. No indeed it came in and claimed my brother Fintan, some friends from Tipperary to New Jersey to Maryland and all points in-between. May they all rest in peace and may we who currently reside within the ramifications of suicide gain strength to surpass its emergence and live in triumph. God bless!
I have fought suicidal ideation for most of my life since about the age of eight upwards and continually. Due to the stigma of mental illness and fear of brutal hospitalization, I choose never to tell anyone. As a result of my silence there evolved a trail of disasters miles long and until I inadvertently ended up in an emergency ward assisted by breathing apparatus and heart monitors perhaps I might not be here today assuring others like you that there is an alternative; faith in God.
Dr. Kay Jamison visited the suicide phenomenon in her book Night Falls Fast; and my compliments to Kay for her work with this book, as it had to be hard for her to write considering where she is herself. I found it hard to read at first because it seems so real and her feelings transcend the pages and the imagery so vivid that I had to put it down quite a lot and then pick it up again later.
Talking with family members and friends, I found there is one common denominator they all share and that is believing the deceased to be selfish. Let us take a moment here to capture this a second as one may recall that perhaps doors were closed and tolerance level over the brim with few or no welcoming invites. With this in mind where does being selfish fit in? This illness is difficult on everyone, unlike cancer there is no cure, and medicines do not work for every patient either.
Being troubled with any disease, especially a fatal one, as well as an incurable one, brings with it a command performance in strength of will to endure the trials of the malady while not wanting to seem weak or whimpering incessantly with all those around one. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule as always but knowledge is the best approach to mental illness not criticism and stigma.
Most families or friends study mental illness as best they can, but mental illness is a work in progress and as such, there are no remedies that work for everyone. Some people are lucky, they find a treatment that works on the first try, and begin to enjoy life with fewer traumas. Others though never find solace although they may have taken a lot of time to find a cure but were not blessed with the advances in medicine. During any trial period, the toll on everyone involved is quite substantial and this is where faith and trust in God assists in overcoming the trials inflicted by this or any severe illness.
In a perfect world, it would be nice to receive a suicide letter or even for the distraught to be able to write one would actually be therapeutic and add to the peace long desired. There is a belief that most mentally ill people do not want to kill themselves but actually want a respite from the incessant pain and when the body has had enough then the lights are turned off and calmness descends like a warm blanket and the road to the end becomes clear and distinct.
I believe that all forms of suicide, irrespective of the road traveled that results in this conclusion, are a walking beyond the gates towards clear reasoning. There is no turning back once the cloud descends and there may not be time or thought given to writing a goodbye letter. All I ask here is this; if you find yourself as a relative or friend of a deceased through suicide, please thank God for giving this person the relief they sought. Ask God for the strength to not judge but to accept and cherish the fond memories because death by suicide is no different from any other death in essence except method obtained.
Remember too, none of us belongs to this world as we are all traveling through it and the time spent with the company of any single person is what it is and cannot be explained away for any reason. It is good to have memories, may we all be missed by the contribution we gave irrespective of magnitude, for we all make some contribution. Praise God for the blessings of life in life and life in death for there is no ending just transporting to a new world.
There will always be fewer answers than questions but there is one unequivocal truth and that is to nurture love and allow its unconditional essence to flow in out and through you in every circumstance. Love and Meditation shall aid the healing process so please give them an enthusiastic approach and reap transcendental beauty. God bless!

Mary Kay consultants, what is my foundation colour?
I used to use the medium coverage foundation for normal-oily skin in beige 400-402, now I want to try the Timewise matte-wear foundation but I can't figure out from the catalogue what my colour would be. I'm guessing I'm a beige 5-6 but I'd hate to have it delivered only to realize that its way off. Thanks in advance.
my mom does mary kay and she says you are, number 4, and if that's two light its a satisfaction guarantee, so you can exchange it if the colors not right.
