This will give you the confidence to use your stun gun on an attacker, instead of worrying about freezing up. Plus, it will allow you to see that using it is not hard to do and if you just have it ready, you will be able to use it to protect yourself.
One last imperative thing to know is that with this type of stun gun, you will have to press it against the attacker's body for it to work effectively. The good thing about theses stun guns is that they will deliver the highest amount of volts possible so that it will definitely be effective when it is used.
