Nanotechnology Makes Waterless Car Wash Possible in Brazil

Car washing around Brazil is now becoming more environmental friendly thanks to a new biodegradable nanotechnology car-cleaning product that allows the car detailers from Brazil to wash their car without the need for water. Local detailers in Brazil intends to show car owners what they probably already know: There's a non-toxic, eco-friendly, biodegradable and waterless way to clean and polish your vehicle's exterior paintwork.

The typical home car wash in Brazil uses up to 140 gallons of water, according to the International Carwash Association – a tremendous waste. Unless you park your car on the lawn or a gravel driveway, all of that floats right down the driveway and into storm drains, where it seeps into Brazil's local bodies of water. Unlike water that goes down sink drains or toilets, storm drain water skips your local treatment facility and goes straight to local lakes, ponds and rivers.

Brazil— Residents can now clean their cars without using a single drop of water after a waterless car-cleaning product was launched in the country.

For those Brazilian car owners too nostalgic to skip a nice summertime hand car washing, waterless car wash solutions are just the ticket for doing so in an environmentally friendly way. These powerful cleaners break down dirt on a car's surface and are buffed away (without water) to leave cars shiny and clean. Freedom Waterless Car Wash product is the leading on the market who delivers what they claim. They are currently looking for a solid company to work with in Brazil.

what's the best way to wash your car?

i know it's not rocket science, but i want a true car enthusiast to let me know things like best products, best materials to buff/dry with (no scratches, most absorbent) best time of day, light or shade etc....thanks!

Yes mike it does sound easy but when you go out side and look at all the cars out there, there are only few cars that still retain there shine and luster. I have been detailing cars for four years and I still get looks from various people and my 91 Honda paint still looks better than a 06 mustang. first of all when it comes to what products you should buy you will eventually figure out each job will require a product to make it extra special and stand out from the crowed I don't use all the same product for my car it consist of various brands, but don’t fret if you want a brand that requires no second thought or are unsure which is best then I recommend one brand McGuire’s its fool proof more than half my products consist of it. Now that what products you should use now we should go into how to wash a car.
First you need to make sure you wash you’re car in the shade and when sun is going down this will help later on. then u need to bug and tar its a product that removes tar and tough dirt from a car make sure to scrub the area with a soft towel then rinse immediately don’t leave it on to long no less than two mins. then proceed to rinse the car in hot water or cold it don’t matter but cold works for me, rinse car well make sure small rocks leaves any object is removed this will prevent scratches from forming when washing, apply Maguire product in a five gallon bucket and wash with a micro fiber sponge theory wash entire car from top to bottom make sure to wash everything except tires and rims if you do you will pick up rocks and brake dust. Then proceed to rinse car off from top to bottom wash twice just to make sure you got everything. then rinse while you are doing this you should also start washing the tires and rims with different cleaners after both are don’t rinse entire car with water then proceed to dry car micro fiber towel from top to bottom do it fast and even if you don’t them this will cause striking and water spot and will leave a 15 min job useless. After this is all done you should be ready to start waxing. On the side note if you drop sponge or drying towel on dirt do not continue to use it during wash use a different towel.
WAXING. Now there are many products for waxing I use turtle wax premium but then again you can stick too Maguire there both good. by now you’re car should be in the shade and the car metal should be cold if its hot than don’t wax it will cause serious problems, make sure that you have an applicator* then proceed to but a small amount on the applicator and put on the car apply one section at a time in a circular pattern, once you apply to one section allow to dry a little take it off with a micro fiber towel and repeat this step throughout car you can wax everything except plastic, black rubber glass and tires. make sure not to be too rough when taking off wax apply to much pressure then you are just taking the wax off not enough pressure than you will leave residue. After you have finished make sure to go over and spot check make sure you have taken everything off. you’re car should look clean and the paint should look wet and smooth you will know if you did a good job by running you’re back hand against the car it should be smooth and soft if it isn’t don’t fret sometimes when I detail its still rough this means the owner had not waxed it or clear coat is no longer their.
now proceed to clean you’re windows with a cleaner and dry off with a micro fiber towel this will take many trys before you get good at leaving a streak free shine do both side inside and out roll windows half way down to do top of window. Now if you want you’re car to really stand out you should apply dressing to the tires, by dressing I mean a tire shine again Maguire should have this product very self explanatory on the can. now you’re car should look good and shiny these processes do more than just clean you’re it will make sure you’re clear coat never goes away and preserve the paint to always look as good as the day it was purchased. And to think when I detail this is basically step one. I would repeat this process once every two month if you don’t want to wax then wash once a month.
