Awaken Sea

Dance in the Sea of Love & Celebrate your Life
February is heart month?what a great reminder for us to listen to our heart and really hear what it wants to share with us. If we pay attention to the beat of our heart long enough we’ll be able to hear the rhythm that taps the code to unlocking our true self and purpose.
In order to decipher the message it is necessary for us to feel our heart’s sorrow, pain, or anger for its forgotten dreams and to heal our wounded soul. For in our greatest pain lies our greatest teachings and gifts.
Pretending these wounds and lost dreams don’t exist only serves to keep us trapped in the illusion that life has “done us wrong”. But by exploring them it gives us the power to take our lives back and create something new. It strengthens our beautiful heart and the blood pumping through it becomes enriched with a vital life force energy that can make miracles happen.
Imagine each one of your buried desires or moments of grief as gems in the rough?how about
Emeralds? Hold one in the palm of your hand, study its grime and imperfections then begin to dust and polish it slowly and with deliberate intent. When you see its true essence shine through then gaze into the depths of the Emerald and ask what purpose it serves.
Discover what riches this powerful stone holds through its teachings. What dreams does it want you to remember?
Then stop pretending that you are unworthy!
Stop pretending that you are unlovable!
Stop pretending that you are underprivileged and limited!
It isn’t working for you.
Let yourself be free to be who you are and follow your heart’s desires. Dream your biggest dreams, envision them and ask the universe or God to show you the possibilities to make them real.
Shout to the rooftops:
? “Show me the infinite possibilities!”
? “I let the universe love me because I love the universe!”
? “Show me the doorways and I’ll walk through them!”
Changes happen in our lives and the world when we open our hearts, when we allow expansion and fluidity to be our natural state. Changes happen when we welcome love, compassion, forgiveness, and joy into our lives.
It is possible to experience infinite bliss but we have to clear away the dust, grime, and dirt of the rocks we’ve been carrying around to reveal the emerald crystal underneath, our Quintessence.
My life is becoming a tapestry of love and deep inner peace as each day weaves into the next because I am learning to embrace adversity as a teacher sent from the heavens. The beautiful part is with this inner vision adversity lasts but only a moment in time now because I am learning to practice the art of love and compassion with the presence of Spirit in my life.
“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.
Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
- Carl Jung

What does this mean? It's an excerpt from The Awakening by Kate Chopin?
AP English 11
im supposed to complete this literary passage
(im supposed to make my own story?)
The voice of the sea sparks to the soul. The touch of the sea is the touch of the senses, enfolding the body in its soft, close embrace.
Can anyone explain what this means?
And any ideas on how i should finish this?
I haven't read The Awakening, so I'm not sure exactly what it means, but I can give you my opinion.
It could be that she's looking at the sea as a way to escape. Like the sea is 'calling' to her. Perhaps it's a way of saying that she's depressed and she's planning on killing herself by throwing herself into the sea's 'soft, close embrace.'
Maybe it's a completely different thing. Chopin was a lesbian, wasn't she? Perhaps she's talking about another woman, referring to her as the sea instead.
I could, of course, be completely wrong. And as for the second part of your question, I have no idea how you should finish it.
I hope I've helped in some way.
